Adolescent Therapy
Minka specializes in adolescent therapy, with a focus on the unique challenges teen girls face. The transition from childhood into adolescence can be difficult for both girls and their parents. Minka provides a safe and supportive environment for girls to discuss the issues they’re facing. Her own experience growing up on the Westside of Los Angeles gives Minka insight into the specific challenges teen girls face coming of age in a diverse, complex city.
Minka’s work with adolescents is focused on helping them communicate and process feelings they are having trouble expressing. Utilizing their own strengths and resources, as well as developing new coping mechanisms, they will learn to face challenges head on. She helps adolescents gain the tools they need to communicate effectively with their parents and peers.
